The 2nd Philippine LCUs Global Engagement recently took place in India, highlighting a significant collaboration among local educational institutions. A delegation from Tagoloan Community College and Tangub City Global College, alongside Diliman College, led by former Senator Anna Dominique Coseteng, participated in this important initiative to strengthen international academic ties.
The group visited several prestigious Indian institutions, including Rashtriya Raksha
University, which specializes in criminology studies; the National Forensic Science University, known for its focus on forensic education; Mount Litera Zee School, a leader in modern education; Gujarat Technological University, a hub for engineering and technology studies; and BZ Global Education, emphasizing global learning opportunities.
Key members of the delegation included Dr. Maricelle Nueva, College President of Tangub City Global College; Dr. Kharen Jane Ungab, Vice President for Academic Affairs of Tagoloan Community College; and Ms. Merilyn Tangon, Vice President for Administration of Tagoloan Community College. Additionally, Dr. Yolanda Lira, Criminology Program Accreditor of ALCUCOA, along with her husband, Atty. Fortunato Lira, a Senior Law Practitioner, contributed their expertise. Prof. Wendell Delos Reyes, Vice President of Diliman College, also played an essential role.
